Cunning Running has delivered a high-resolution 3D model of HMNB Portsmouth to MOD Police Portsmouth. The 3D model, which covers the Naval base itself, the Historic Dockyard and HMS Nelson, was produced in collaboration with Atkins Global who flew the area with drones as part of a surveying contract with BAE SYSTEMS and the MOD.
With their permission Cunning Running processed the data to create a 3D model for use within CTS-PRAS. MOD police when carrying out detailed Vulnerability Assessments of the Naval Base using CTS-PRAS will now benefit from the additional detail and easier visualisation that the 3D model provides.
